Shrike for macOS

v0.1.0 · Apple Silicon · .dmg · universal keyboard layout

Signed & notarized. Shrike is signed with a Developer ID certificate and notarized by Apple, so it opens straight from the .dmg — no Gatekeeper warning, no right-click to Open. See the install guide for details.

Requirements

macOS

Chip
Apple Silicon (M1 or newer)
Mail
A Google / Gmail account
Disk
~2 GB if you enable the on-device AI model

Once it's installed

  1. 01

    Download & open

Grab the .dmg, drag Shrike into Applications, and launch it. On first run it opens on a sample inbox so you can try the keyboard flow immediately.

  2. 02

    Connect your Gmail

Sign in through Google in your browser. Shrike talks to Gmail directly over IMAP + SMTP — no Shrike server in between.

  3. 03

    Press ? and fly

The shortcut overlay teaches you the keymap. Within a minute you will be archiving, replying, and snoozing without touching the trackpad.

Stuck? The documentation covers everything, and ? inside the app is never more than a keystroke away.
