Multiple accounts

Shrike handles multiple Gmail accounts at once. Add as many as you like and work them together or one at a time.

  • Unified inbox — by default, all your accounts’ mail flows into a single list, so you triage everything in one pass.
  • Filter to one — scope the view to a single account with a keystroke when you want to focus.

Each account gets its own color dot in the chrome, so you can tell at a glance which inbox a thread belongs to without reading the address.

Open the accounts switcher (or Settings, ⌘,) and choose Add account. You’ll go through the same Google sign-in as the first account. Shrike keeps separate tokens and a separate local cache per account.

When you reply or compose, Shrike picks the From account that matches the conversation, and the compose window lets you switch it explicitly with a picker — so a reply from your work thread goes out as your work address, not whichever account happened to be active.

Each account has its own provider and tokens, and every row in the local cache is tagged with an account_id, so unified and per-account views are just different filters over the same fast local store. Your accounts stay isolated; nothing is mixed server-side because there is no server.
