To-dos
Shrike has a small, local to-do list built into the sidebar — and the fast way to fill it is straight from your mail.
Thread → to-do in one key
Section titled “Thread → to-do in one key”With a thread open or selected, press t. Shrike runs its
on-device AI over the conversation, extracts the likely action
and any due date, and opens the to-do editor pre-filled for you to confirm or
tweak. One key, one glance, done — the thread becomes a task without you
retyping anything.
Because the model runs locally, the contents of the thread never leave your Mac.
Managing the list
Section titled “Managing the list”Jump to the list with g y. It’s keyboard-driven like everything else:
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
j / k | Move selection |
x / Space | Toggle done |
Enter | Edit selected to-do |
c | New (blank) to-do |
# / Delete | Delete selected to-do |
Local and yours
Section titled “Local and yours”The to-do list lives in Shrike’s local SQLite store alongside your cached mail. It isn’t synced to a third-party task service — it’s a fast scratchpad for “things this inbox just asked me to do.”
